Of course getting all dressed up for Halloween is a big part of the seasonal fun, but sometimes we don't need elaborate to make an impression. If you want to throw on a last-minute getup before a small (family only) party all you really need is a T-Shirt.
There are two strategies that you can take when you're putting together a T-shirt costume: You can keep things simple and easy, or you can be a little more elaborate and complex.
The easiest thing that you can do is to just buy a shirt that fits the holiday and your mood, and then wear it. That's it. There are tons of different festive T-Shirts that you can choose from, and you can find hundreds of them on e-commerce sites for all you Halloween T-Shirt needs.
Want to wear a skeleton T-shirt that makes it look like you're standing behind an X-Ray machine? Amazon has it. Want to celebrate the fall and wear a pumpkin shirt instead? Amazon has it, too. You can also try a shirt with the poster image of one of your favorite scary movies. Even just a shirt that says "This is my costume" allows you to celebrate the season, if a bit sarcastically.

Another approach (if simple is too simple) you can take is to use your T-shirt as the basis for the costume, and then add features to it in order to turn it into a more fleshed-out look.
For example, if you want to be a skeleton for Halloween, you could use a simple skeleton T-shirt and then add skeletal makeup on your face and hands. If you have a Spider-Man T-shirt, you can finish the look by applying makeup or a Spider-Man mask. There's lots that you can do with just T-shirts this Halloween, so use your imagination and have fun!
